ALOHA Council 47!!!

     I would like to say thank you all for putting your trust in me and your officers. Nate, Beth and I promise to be open and transparent during our term. Communication is so very important so please reach out to anyone of us should you need anything. In return we will do our very best to communicate with you all.

     Our LAX Base is so very special to me. Out of the 15 years I have been with Hawaiian, 12 of them were based in LAX. Because of our small size, we are very much an 'ohana. Although small, I vow to make sure we are not forgotten. Your officers and I will advocate on your behalf and please know we have your best interests in mind.

The company has posted an announcement today stating that they will begin the Airport Reserve (ARC) assignment process at LAX starting May 3rd. We realize that this is a big change for our reserves but the company's ability to utilize ARC is clearly outlined in Section 8 of the CBA.
