        This Committee represents AFA-CWA to secure Contractual requirements through work with Hawaiian Airlines Crew Planning and Scheduling department. This Committee investigates Flight Attendant complaints regarding layover hotel, transportation and crew lounge issues to ensure Contract compliance and maintenance of Hotel Standards.

SYD Hotel & Crew Bag Storage

 We have just received notice from the Management team at our SYD hotel, The Four Points by Sheraton Sydney/ Central Park, that they will no longer be storing crew bags for long term. In fact, they have set a deadline for all crew bags to be removed from their storage space. The deadline to remove your bags is March 31, 2024. If you have any bags stored at this hotel, please retrieve them or work with one of your fellow FAs to have them retrieve them for you by this deadline [...]

LGB Temporary Relocation

Please be advised that commencing with all arrivals into LGB on March 3rd, we will temporarily relocate our crews to the Courtyard By Marriott Long Beach Airport. This relocation period will be for 3 nights total (March 3-5) and we will return to our normal crew hotel on March 6th. [...]

LAX Hotel Shuttle Update

Effective immediately, the Hyatt Place Hotel will be providing new shuttle service for all hotel guests utilizing a Hyatt Place Hotel branded shuttle. These new shuttle buses will pick up our crews at the same location at LAX. The new shuttles are all white, and larger, and have signs displaying "Hyatt Place Hyatt House Century Blvd". [...]

JFK Hotel Update

We received word that due to positive feedback from our JFK crews, we will continue to stay at The 50 Bowery Hotel in Lower Manhattan through March 31st for all JFK layovers. We will also adjust the rolling time from the hotel to 2:15 prior to scheduled departure Monday through Friday and 2:00 prior on Saturday and Sunday. FUK Hotel Update

Please be advised that FUK crews departing HNL on March 3, 5, and 10 will be relocated to the Hilton Seahawk Fukuoka Hotel, our former crew hotel. Please disregard my previous update regarding the Nishitetsu Grand Hotel. We received several complaints regarding uncomfortable temperatures in the rooms there and the decision was made to change hotels during this relocation period. [...]
