Committee Description

     

     AFA-CWA representation addresses issues including rates relative to the Flight Attendant Retiree Medical Plan, and other Flight Attendant welfare benefit plans. The MEC Retirement Committee shall be knowledgeable about and assist members with questions regarding retirement, 401(k) plans, and other investment vehicles that may become available and keep members up-to-date and educated about these programs.

Reminder: On Thursday, September 12th, we have a full day of essential retirement workshops at the HNL Terminal 1, Airport Conference Center, 7th Floor (top level of the Interisland Parking Structure), Room ILIAHI (IIT-3). The sessions are as follows: Session #1, "EMPOWER: Retirement Planning for Younger Investors," from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM; Session #2, "EMPOWER: Retirement Readiness," from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM; and Session #3, "HAWAII SHIP: Medicare Basics," from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
